What Jess is loving…
Hands down best fantasy book I’ve ever read. It’s action packed, displays savagery at its finest, and wittiness and humor in all the right places. Top it all off with an ending that packs more excitement that I could keep up with and a cliffhanger that has me literally begging Rebecca Yarros to please the next book immediately.
Would give it more than 5 stars if I could!
I can’t believe I cried over a book about an octopus.
This book was so stunningly beautiful in every way. From the cover, to the character you grow to adore, to the sweet ending. The way in which 3 very different characters stories are intertwined was so thoughtfully done.
I am utterly obsessed with how Abby Jimenez creates such perfectly imperfect characters. I love her mental health representation in all of her part of your world books. This is yet another book of hers that captured my heart!
I haven’t read anything like this book in my life, in the best way possible.
This book dives into the multiverse and how one choice can alter your entire life so it’s safe to say this book isn’t for everybody. But if you’re into fast-paced thrillers that keep you guessing and thinking then definitely read this book.
The Nightingale is a powerful and emotional novel set during World War II. It tells the story of two sisters, Vianne and Isabelle, and their brave efforts to survive and resist the German occupation of France.

Incredible story. Incredible writing. Incredible book.

Book Lovers is easily one of my favorite romance novels. It’s not only a love story about a girl and a guy, it’s also a story about two sisters who love each other so deeply and it’s honestly so sweet.
Nora is also such a strong female main character and she is just written so beautifully. The story between her and Charlie had me swooning.
This is a fantastic read that grabs you from the start. The story follows Naomi, a woman trying to rebuild her life, and Knox, a gruff but caring guy who becomes unexpectedly important to her.
The characters are relatable and their growing connection is both heartwarming and believable. The plot mixes romance with personal growth, making it a really satisfying read.
If you’re looking for a book with strong characters, a touching story, and a bit of humor, Things We Never Got Over is definitely worth picking up!
This book is the perfect blend of “what if” and “you don’t know what you have until it’s gone”. I’ve thought about this book multiple times since I finished it, which does not happen often. A sweet, quick read for anyone who can get on board with a little wish granting!
Wow, where do I even start with Babel? This book is like a rollercoaster that you didn’t realize you were on until you’re halfway through, holding on for dear life and wondering how it got so intense.
The story dives into the world of translation at Oxford, but forget what you think you know about dry lectures and dusty books. This place has magic—literal magic—that makes words powerful enough to change the world. And the characters? They’re an incredible mix of personalities you’ll fall in love with.
This book isn’t just a read; it’s an experience. If you’re ready to dive into a story that’ll challenge you, make you laugh, and maybe even make you a little bit smarter, Babel is the one. Just be warned: once you start, you won’t want to put it down.
V.E. Schwab’s The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue is a breathtaking masterpiece. The novel tells the story of Addie LaRue, a young woman who makes a Faustian bargain to live forever, but is cursed to be forgotten by everyone she meets.

This book is an exquisitely crafted love story that dives deep into the complexities of human connection.
The chemistry between Regan and Aldo is palpable, and their journey together is filled with both heartache and hope. Blake’s portrayal of mental health issues is sensitive and authentic, adding depth to the characters and their relationship.
This book is a masterpiece that I think about very often, despite having read this awhile ago now.
I also highly recommend reading the Authors Note at the end of the novel to gain even more persective of how much love Olivie Blake put into this novel.
